I have created a custom form for my wedding couples (questionnaire about their wedding program) and after I was done, I noticed that when I am filling out the form and want to move from one field to the next one, when I use “Tab” it doesn’t follow the right order of the form but instead jumps all over the place. I understand this may be because I copy pasted the boxes and didn’t do it in the right sequence, but I am curious to know if there is any setting I can use to give the boxes the correct order (etc. box 1, then Tab would move on to box 2, then move on to Box 3). Thanks!
Hi,
There’s an built-in accessibility feature in Wix that sets the input components order top-> down and left->right. To enable it, please see here: Accessibility: Checklist for Improving Your Site's Accessibility | Help Center | Wix.com
At the moment, we don’t allow for setting a custom tab order.
Hi,
Although, as Ohad points out, we don’t have a way to set custom tab order, there is an indirect way to achieve the desired result. Take a look at this forum thread on how you can set the tab order of your fields. I tried this method myself and it does work.
Good luck,
Yisrael
Thanks for your feedback! I tired both ways (enabling accessibility feature, and arranging the tabs sending them backward in the right order) and none worked for my site… i may be doing something wrong I guess…
I know that the accessibility feature works - although it does have its own method of arranging that might not be exactly what you want.
Arranging the tab order as I suggested works, but it takes some fidgeting around to get it set up the way you want. Reread the post that I mentioned to make sure you are doing at as required. You should be able to get satisfactory results with a bit of playing around.

Hi Yisrael,
I have tried this on my site without success. I’ve read through the indicated thread multiple times and I am definitely following the steps described. I would really appreciate any suggestions you might offer. Particularly for pages with a large number of inputs, the process described is labor intensive and if it fails, it offers a poor user experience. Please help!
