Ever since last weekend when wix had a brief moment of malfunction that caused all sites to stop loading, this week is very very slow on Wix. The editor’s publish and preview buttons have to be clicked 20-50 times before I get a responsive website.
Let me show you an example from my editor screenshots, as I tried it this morning between 8:39am and 8:53am. Basically, we have inconsistent error showing even though I’m just sitting there doing nothing, except clicking “PREVIEW”, “BACK TO EDITOR”.
8:39am could not respond to anything, any click, any action, an error
8:40am could not respond to anything, any click, any action, a different error
……etc after 30 clicks
8:52am it responds fine
For some reason, at 8:52am, the site finally COULD PREVIEW.
(Please ignore the “src” property error at the 8:52am, that’s not the issue)
Talk to many Wix reps and they have no clue what I’m talking about.
BTW, yesterday I went to Apple Store and tried on their best machines,…even worse! Today I got a new modem with an upgraded speed, tried different browsers…
This afternoon…no LUCK!
If this is persistent, I think people should think twice before paying Wix to host their websites.
This is not a forum for complaints, if you’re interested in a solution, I suggest you reformat and make a new post to have something to do with Corvid.
I just wanted to chime in - while Wix did have some issues this week, I want to take this opportunity to assure you that at Wix is and has always been focused on speed/loading. If you may recall the launch of Turbo in the not so distant past, it still to this day remains our focus.
Overall Wix has maintained an extremely high uptime over many years. I completely understand your frustration and can assure you I will make sure your voice is heard. I’m currently not aware of any other issues - so all should be resolved. Feel free to ping me directly in the future - I’ll be glad to help.
Like David said, right now we do not have a place to split discussion and assistance, but the Corvid Masters and Wix are working on a plan (so we will have a place for these types of posts in the future).

Today was a bad day. I clicked preview almost 500 times and only 5 times It worked. Just now it suddenly displayed this new error that I haven’t seen before.
Error: Variant “Initialized” not covered in pattern with keys [Initialized,NotInitialized]. This could mean you did not include all variants in your Union’s matchWith function.
In summary today: I get one of the four results based on when I clicked the preview button:
