Wix Shop XML failing in GSC after new backend failure of Wix last week

I’m having trouble with
GSC is throwing error

This page contains the following errors:

error on line 345 at column 502: Opening and ending tag mismatch: br line 345 and p

the whole XML is generated by Wix and it worked perfectly fine for 5 years and suddenly harmless “space” in description is causing parsing error???

Are we the only one suffering? We added no NEW Product

This is odd! The first thing that comes to mind - it’s likely that someone copied formatted content from elsewhere (Word, Google Docs etc.) into a product field, like description, image alt text, title - or another field that’s used in the sitemap - and somewhere the stored value contains Something here

Then the sitemap has output that value directly into the XML - which breaks it. It’ll be harder to find since   isn’t usually visible text - but I highly suspect this to be the case :slight_smile:
