This is feedback I hear from my clients on a consistent basis and something I have experienced myself.
Wix Stores Feature Request:
With the current functionality, holidays like Black Friday and Cyber Monday are huge pain points for eCommerce sites if they want to participate. A lot of deals will start at midnight in their timezone and since we don’t have the ability to schedule sales, someone needs to be ready to make that change at the specific time the sale starts. They also need to be ready to turn it off once it’s over. Having the ability to put start and end dates on sales and let Wix handle showing them and hiding them automatically would be a huge weight taken off a majority of my client’s shoulders and is a must-have feature.
General Site Feature Request:
Something else that goes along with this is being able to schedule either specific elements in a site or publish changes to a site. This would help with the above scenario when during that same sale, you want to put a banner on your website. If a designer can come in and make those updates and then schedule when they will be published or again in my ideal world, schedule that specific element to be shown and hidden at a certain time, the manual work involved in launching sales and even general changes would be mostly automated.
