Wix taking 40 minutes to publish site?

Hello. Whenever I try to make any changes to my site, it takes approx 30-40 minutes for Wix to actually publish the site. What I mean is I finish making the changes, hit publish, then the concentric circles with “Creating awesome stuff” appear - and keep loading. And keep loading. And keep loading. It generally takes at least half an hour of ‘site loading’ before the page actually, finally publishes. During this time I have to keep my laptop open and on that page, for some reason opening another browser window means the page will be permanently stuck on loading (I opened my email in another tab, went back to check on Wix over an hour later, and it was still stuck on loading).

I have tried using three browsers and incognito mode, nothing makes any difference.

Is this normal speed for Wix? I do find websites hosted on Wix and Wix itself incredibly slow to load compared to other websites.

I would recommend contacting the Wix support team , as they’ll be better able to review your problem and assist you accordingly.

While publishing my website as well as while loading Wix dashboard , it takes almost 5+ minutes.

It was not the case few days back. Recently , i have observed this behavior.

I have hardly 10 mb of total images in Media and 10 web pages.

It rarely takes a lot of time as I have more then 5GB of images and items in my storage and the most time it has ever taken is half a minute, that’s it. there could be some problem regarding your internet. Or else Contact Wix Support Team
