It seems wixUsers.register() has given up on life…, it no longer works for custom registration forms.
It appears wixCRM.createContact() still works though. Any ideas on a fix?

I got some info on my end, apparently the site needs to be secure for this to work as in HTTPS instead of just HTTP. Updated the site and that seems to have fixed the problem…

I am also having issues with the wixUsers.register API. Some of my users can not register while others can. It is driving me crazy.
Was this issue ever fixed? I tried using the code posted in the example found here: Velo Tutorial: Creating a Custom Registration Form with Code | Help Center | Wix.com,
last night, but it only worked twice and now it doesn’t work anymore. As a side note, my site isn’t live yet. I’ve been trying to get everything working first before I connect my domain. Also, I have been testing the functionality using the published version of the site, which is HTTPS.
Looks like its an issue with using the same email address over and over again. Since I’m the site admin, I can’t use the same email that is already registered on my account.
