Write forum posts from the Members Area

Hi,

Have use WIX app to create a forum page. I need to know as how i can create a FORUM post from members area? I can see this option for blogs.

Unfortunately, there are no APIs that you can use at the moment to create a Forum post from outside the forum.

Current post database in WIX is read only. Can i change it to editable once i subscribe premium plan.

Forum collections are read-only, and can edited only in the editor for testing purposes, and the changes you make there don’t affect the live site.

Most apps from the Marketplace have restrict and lock their collections to prevent any data lose that might cause errors when fields that are meant to be filled are empty.
