Not sure how to even describe this odd issue so apologies if its been asked before. One of my sections (see Foodies in the screenshot ) has somehow duplicated but then merged back into one. In the layers panel I can see two, but on the page I can only see one. If I select either one in the layers, the same section is selected on the page. Even more strange, if I delete one, whatever content that happens to be in the section above it gets deleted or moved. No matter what I do I can’t get rid of the duplicate without randomly effecting other sections and messing up the rest of the page. Any help?
(Wix Studio)
random glitch. create a new section copy elements to it. delete old section
Thank you Dan, yes did try that, but then deleting the offending section deletes the content of the section above it. Even if I move them all the way to the top as they are in that screenshot, if I delete either one of those in the layers panel, the header content disappears. Not from the layers panel, but from the page itself…
Also the problem survives logging out and back in again. And different browsers.
Ive also had exactly the same problem (once Editor X and also now on Wix Studio).
If you create a new section and repopulate it, then try to delete the buggy section, the bug transfers to the section above or below the deleted section (so a new section is merged with the buggy one) and you have to keep chasing the bug to the top or bottom of the page, where it ultimately takes out the header or footer and the page is ruined.
Did anyone ever find the fix to this? It makes me want to quit Wix altogether.
That is weird. I’d report that to support
