About importing data with Chinese characters

Recently i was trying to import my data with a CSV file into the collection database system. But than I found that those Chinese characters in the data was garbled.
Like, [ �]�ߺ�Ҵ��Z -] .
How do I import data with Chinese characters correctly?

Just want to clarify, if you open the same CSV file on your machine before the import (not in the google spreadsheet) - is it looks ok and readable? without [�]�ߺ�Ҵ��Z]

It looks normal. Once it import, it goes garbled in the Data.

For your information , this situation also happen in importing contact list.

Do you refer to importing contacts to the contacts dashboard ?
If so, please contact Wix support . If not, please clarify what is the scenario.

the garbled scenario was both happening in importing CSV file in eighter contacts dashboard or in the wix code database.

The contacts dashboard is not related to Wix code. This forum is specialised in Wix Code product. Therefore, you should contact Wix support team to help you with this matter. As for importing the CSV file in the Wix Code database- we are checking it on our end. We’ll get back to you once it is resolved.

Hey there, I think I have solve the problem by uploading the excel file to google drive and then download it with exporting CSV file. i have same issue, can not import CSV file. when i upload the excel file, the chinese characters will be garbled. i try to upload the excel file to google drive and download again. but it still not work. please help!!!
