What current pain point are you facing?
I need rulers for precise alignment of elements on my webpage.
Do you have a current workaround that you’re using?
I have tried inserting vertical and horizontal lines in the editor as a temporary measure, and deleting them once they are no longer needed. This causes some confusion however, and is not ideal in terms of simplicity/ease of use/precision.
Describe the feature you need and how it would work. (Bonus points for mockups )
I imagine this feature to be a simple on/off toggle, as in the regular Wix Editor. Selecting the function displays a ruler on the top and side of the editor, and clicking on the ruler creates a perpendicular line to the ruler itself. The line can the be moved or deleted, and multiple ruler lines can be added at the same time.
How will this impact you?
This feature will allow for precise layout and alignment of design elements across the website and across different pages, without having to resort to complicated methods such as manually inserting and deleting lines, grids etc.

I’m curious, did you previously work only in the original Wix Editor, or did you also work in Editor X?
Hey, there is something similar to this in Wix Studio that might help you. If you click the Wix Studio logo in the top left corner then go Tools > Editor Add-ons > Get Add-ons
You can select Design guides which will help you by adding lines to your site.

I have tried the Design Guides, however I find that they do not offer the same level of flexibility/personalization as the ruler did in the Wix Editor.
I have added this as an official feature request, let’s hope they add it to the roadmap!
I have used Editor X in the past, however if I recall correctly this feature was not present in Editor X either.
I guess this could be tied to the fact that both Editor X and Wix Studio both rely on a slightly “different design philosophy” as opposed to the Wix Editor.
Despite this, it’s still nice to have the option to choose whether to use a ruler for some page layouts (guess old habits die hard).
