Adding a user's location to a Google map

Hi,
How do I add a pin showing a user’s location (preferably in a different colour) to a Google map? I have map with multiple locations coming from a database. I have been able to centre the map on a user’s location, and set the zoom level so that only locations within a certain radius are shown. I would now like to add a pin showing the user’s location.

Apologies, we do not have an answer but rather a question to your question. We currently have the same issue as you: our website is not dynamic and displays multiple locations from a database. We are trying to display the user’s location on the same map. Could you share how you managed to center the map on the user’s location or if you were able to add a pin?
