Hello, I need a discount to be automatically applied at checkout when the customer selects cash/manual payment. Is there a way to do this with code in the backend?

Well, with almost NO informations about your setup, anybody will be able to help you.
You didn’t describe your setup at all. Anyone knows what you are doing, what if you have written some code and what code you wahe generated already.
-You did not mention that you are talking about Wix-Stores (i just assume it, since you mentioned → CHECKOUT)
Ok, let’s say that my paranormal abilities lead me to the right conclusion and you are talking about Wix-Stores and a PRODUCT-PAGE + CHECK-OUT-PAGE, where you have used almost NO-CODE and used instead everything out of Wix-Box, just by doing some settings on all provided options and wix-features inluded inside of the Wix-Stores-Package.
(At this point i have to tell you, that Wix-APPs are only partially capable to be modified or customized).
Conclusion —> If you really want to CUSTOMIZE your Wix-Store, then you will need some code and maybe also a CUSTOMIZED CHECK-OUT-PAGE.
There are a lot of post out there about CHECKOUTPAGE-CUSTOMIZATIONS.
Maybe you first use the SEARCH of this FORUM.
I did search A LOT and found nothing about it, coming here to ask it the last resource. My checkout page doesn’t have any custom code (I would have cleared up if it did), I asked cause I didn’t even knew if it was possible; sometimes a little simple piece of code added to a default (in this case checkout) page takes you a long way and maybe this was the case but apparently not. I’m not a coder but did a lot of code for my sites by searching in this forum, reading wix APIs and lastly, asking. Also, I asumed that wix has only one kind of checkout page, so there was no much doubt about what I was asking, maybe I was wrong.
