We are excited to share with you - you can now add Gradients to Strip & Column Background, and create cool visuals: 1. Linear Gradients- With the ability to add up to 8 colors and control the Gradient’s angle
Re-use your Gradient design on other strips and columns (same site) by clicking on the +Add button next to the My Gradients/ My Fluid Gradients.
How to add Gradients?
Open the Wix Editor > Add strip > open the backgrond pnael > click on ‘color’ > play around
What’s next?
The next phase will be expanding Gradients abilities to Page background, Section Background and other components like Lightbox, strip slideshow, etc.

Hi @let-s-start-design ! When you can, please submit a Partner support request so the team can have a look. It’s very strange that you’re unable to access this beta when it has not been the issue in the past.
I love this feature and have been using it in a mockup site to see how it works. One thing I have noticed is that the gradient is set on the desktop version of the site, but can not be altered on the mobile version. It would be helpful if we were able to change this, as the mobile version is always designed differently. It’s especially noticeable with Fluid Gradients as sometimes, I’d need a specific colour positioned behind an element.
TL;DR - Being able to edit the gradient on mobile would be great.
I haven’t used it a ton since I discovered it, but I’m loving what I’m seeing so far and plan to use it in my new site I’m working on. Something that I have enjoyed on other builders being available now is great.
