You saw it in the round table… and here it is! Interactions!
You can watch the round table here where Thiago and Alex go over interactions and how to create one on your site. You can also see their example site here and here .
What do you want us to build next?

I just tried this and I have 2 comments (so far). Actually 1 comment and 1 question. COMMENT: It would be great to have a quick view button so we could easily see the interaction as we build it rather than having to go to preview mode.
QUESTION: I’m annotating some text. To do this I’m adding a transparent container box OVER the text. The box keeps expanding in height and so covering more than just the words I want to annotate. Am I doing this wrong?
I do like this its fun and very useful. I’ll keep playing with it and add more comments soon.
Awesome feature! Will be put to great use. Many thanks!
Quick feedback/question: I tried building a mega menu and it works great, even with multiple levels. Wonderful! However, to push it to the limit a little I wanted to try and make the menu a little more responsive so I was thinking perhaps it’s a good idea to make it so that even full width elements (strips for example) could also be added to the hover state in the future? A little greedy, I know. he he
Other than that, so far it looks and feels awesome and also it loads great!
Love it!
Hi David, thanks you for your feedback! I think your comment is valuable and we will discuss it internally.
regarding your question - curerntly we support to apply interaction on container box and the elements that are INSIDE it, so all you need to do is put the text inside the container. let me know I that helped. Share with us what you are creating!
Thanks for the feedback Josef. If I get you correctly you want to be able to put a strip from the add panel in the interaction edit mode. Thats interesting, let me check it today and get back to you
Anyway, I will be glad to see the mega menu you did so far. You can post it here or message me privately.
As you can see, there are a few glitches when you combine the interactions with corvid coding. I’ve built it based on mousein/mouceout events, finally I made a moucein on the big strip behind the item to close everything, but maybe a good idea is to make it so that everything that is set to “Hidden on load” also hides when the interaction closes? Like when you mouse out of the interaction all the elements set to hidden on load should be hidden again, kinda like it has its own load initiator or something. Also, as you can tell, if you mouce in again quick enough the interaction reactivates even though I didn’t mouce over the “main” element that actually is suppose to trigger the interaction.
Some thoughts and suggestions. Hope it helps! =)
All the best,
Joe
