Box on image/text hover

Hello everyone!

I see on almost every site that contains multiple information that have a box showed up when you hover your mouse on an image or text.

I attached a photo from a random site to show you an example.

I know that I cant connect alt/tooltip text on images to show information on hover via text, but this is not in my case, I was wondering if there is a way on wix or editor x of creating a custom box based on the sites’ design, color, etc. and provide the information via collections.

Also all my data are showed through repeaters, I don’t know if that matters much on this case.

I wish I knew a better way, but so far my way of solving it is with a hidden/collapsed box always being there, then being revealed once the element gets hovered.

Thanks for your comment. I actually thought about that as a solution too, but yeah, I was basically wondering if there is any, “actual” way of doing it. As I see though, wix doesn’t provide this feature; yet. I will probably do it this way too, thank you.
