Bug: More than two element cannot be stacked

More than two containers cannot be stacked together. It would also be great if the element can be moved in Layer pallet just like illustrator.

Hi @tarootake ,

Thanks for your feedback! We’re sorry to hear you had issues with stacking elements. In general, you are able to stack more than two containers together. If you’re still having issues with it we would love to help.
Could you please open a ticket via ‘Help & Feedback’ or contact support about it?

About moving elements in layers:
We don’t provide the option to move elements between parents or change their X-Y position from layers. Y ou can move elements in layers in two ways:

  1. Moving layers in the same parent: changing their Z layering.
Stack can move and be in front or behind other elements

  2. We allow moving sections up and down, which is changing their order

I hope this answered your question. Please let us know if you need any more assistance.

Thanks for the response. They work now. When the problem is fixed, do you want us to remove the feedback or mark it as fixed?

It would be great if you look into and comment on the following feedback.

I found that Fixed (Scroll Effect) elements cannot be stacked together.
I also like to be able to stack on the Layers panel.

I have 4 containers with a title and paragraph in each. Does it matter whether I group select from the bottom or the top of the group? Will the stack just appear as it looks on my editing screen regardless?

Hi,
I’m not sure i understand your question. can you please add more details regarding what you are trying to achieve and / or a add screenshot?
Thanks!

@yanayn - I don’t think an image would help. For instance if I was writing a MS Word doc and I have 3 items as a bulleted list. I want to select these 3 items to put into an email. I can shift click the first, second and third items selecting them from the top down. I could also start with selecting the 3rd item, then the 2nd item and finally the 1st item. It doesn’t matter whether I select the group of 3 from the top down or the bottom up to past them into the email. It works either way. I’m assuming its the same for stacking containers but my containers are a bit complex so I was just checking if my example holds true for top down and bottom up. Sometimes frameworks like Bootstrap or React require a sequence of order for certain behaviors.

@hmspring Thanks for explaining!
The Stack Container would be exactly the same, no matter in what order you’ve selected the items before creating the Stack.

If you have an Idea for a feature that would be useful for Stack using such method or experience, please share  our team is always looking for inspiration from our users’ suggestions and ideas.

And if you have any Design/Layout you wish to achieve and you wish to consult, please feel free to reach out again.
