I think there are a couple of things here.
Firstly, yes you can move sites between accounts by transferring ownership of them to another account.
When you transfer those sites to your Wix Studio account, they will appear in your Studio account but will remain on their original editor.

Hi Noah, I asked WIX customer service the same question. I am new with WIX.
When you are talking about ‘ownership’, are you referring to websites designed on behalf of a client. And that since the proprietary ‘ownership’ changed/transferred over to client, then the new owner can have full access to WIX Studio Editor?
By ‘account’ do you mean that we as designers can have multiple accounts, but still do not have the option to use WIX Studio Editor?
It would be nice for web design/graphic designers using the upgraded account to be able to transfer their own existing website to the WIX Studio Editor platform:
• Our design services on our website will Reflect the Latest Features of WIX Studio
• We will become more familiar with the WIX Studio Editor platform to use for clients
• We will have the benefits of using upgraded features on our own sites
Naturally, there is the developer coding side to converting our existing websites over to the upgraded WIX Studio Editor. But couldn’t the primary data be moved over into a ‘sandbox’ where we can then edit, add WIX Studio Editor features we want to use before going LIVE? I am assuming of course that the developers would add this conversion step anyway, then if there is an issue, we don’t have to publish until glitches are ironed out. (Similar to editing our websites before hitting ‘Publish’.
I upgraded my account thinking that my existing WIX website would convert over to the new editor platform. Any idea when WIX is planning on allowing us to convert existing websites over?
