For years I’ve been making hamburger tablet/phone style menu’s with lightboxes and easily dragging in menus. But now suddenly I cant drag in menus into lightboxes. Very frustrating.
Questions:
Is it just me who has this problem?
Or is this a new feature?
Is there a workaround for adding in a menu to a lightbox?
Also sidenote, the old Editor X was way better than Wix Studio
I just tested and had no issues dragging a menu to a lightbox. Possibly a glitch. Can you share a video of the issue to see what may be happening ?

Okay I did some investigating, I have two wix studio accounts, the menu adding to lightboxes works on one account but not the other. Any suggestions on what’s going on there?
That is weird. Have you tested in another browser ? I dont think it would be anything to do with collaborator permissions. Seems like a glitch that may need to be reported to support.
Yes I just tested that, logged into edge and still same problem.
I tried creating a brand new wix account, started a blank template website and the problem is still occuring. Only my old account, that is many years old can add the menus in to the lightbox. But I noticed that the menus in my old account are different to the new accounts. The new accounts menus can be changed from vertical, to horizontal to hamburger and have effects added, where the old account are simple menus, so maybe the most up to date menus cant be added to lightboxes?
Do you know of Wix not allowing these new menus to be added to lightboxes, or is it a current glitch?
What Id suggest, is can you create a new wix account, start up a site and see if the problem occurs for you?
Yes, there is a new unified menu being roled out. This may be a glitch.
Do you know if the intent is to remove the ability to add menus to light boxes or do you expect this glitch to be resolve?
