Can't find the Dataset icon in the editor

About a third of the time when I add a content manager dataset to a page, I can’t find the icon anywhere on the page in order to configure it. I then add another thinking maybe it didn’t “take”, but still nothing. I have a feeling it is putting it behind some elements or something. How do I track it down?

After some more searching and trial and error, the following seems to work:

  1. Use Ctrl-M to select each element at a time to try and find it.

  2. Go out of the editor and back in. It may show up then.

I am having the same exact issue right now but none of these solutions are helping. :frowning:

Try going to Tools > Layers > [section where you have your linked content] > select dashed square (it’s a dataset), then use keyboard arrows to move it. Most likely it will appear from out-of-the-grid zone.

I encountered the same problem! I found it in the layer (on the right side, there is a red exclamation point icon). Just click on it, and the dataset icon will appear!

I can’t find the dataset icon anywhere on the page in order to configure it. i tried the suggestions found in this chat but with no success. the layers doesn’t show any exclamation mark nor a dash square :frowning:
