Can't move elements on smaller mobile views, they snap back into place. Plus other issues

Question:
Hi, I’m working on a client site in Wix Studio. I’m having trouble on the two smaller mobile views (tablet & phone). Elements I can move freely in larger desktop views are ‘stuck’ in the smaller views. I try to move them and they snap back into place.

When I try changing a stack from horizontal to vertical, nothing happens. Well, the spacer shifts into place, but the items inside the stack don’t move.

I’m also trying to move a vector line with mouse & arrow keys and nothing happens. If I hide it in the layers panel, it doesn’t disappear.

Here’s a video of the issues: https://video.wixstatic.com/video/ffdde1_1435477923674880a7a0c82408624162/1080p/mp4/file.mp4

Product:
Wix Studio

What are you trying to achieve:
Move elements to fix mobile views that aren’t scaling properly.

What have you already tried:
Wix Studio articles and tutorials are more scarce than the classic editor. I can’t find anyone who has had this same issue. I’ve searched the internet, google, the forums, and gone over Wix help articles. I’ve tried logging in and out of Wix, restarting my machine, clearing cache, etc.

Additional information:
This site has had a lot of issues. I started with the responsive construction template here: Construction Company Responsive Template | Wix Studio - and tried to rebuild the responsive menu bar here: Insurance Company Landing Page Responsive Template | Wix Studio I had a lot of problems with the site (especially the menu bar) scaling down properly and hired an expert to help. Ended up with six different mobile views to get the site looking on all screen sizes. I believe the need for six different views (the limit Wix Studio allows) is causing some of these bugs, but I’m not sure. The bugs do not disappear if I delete some of the mobile views (I have to add them back or the site breaks on laptops and such.)

What are the options for support if I can’t get answers in the forum?

You hire someone who will help you out.

  1. Searching inside the FORUM itself for a PROGRAMMER/CODER/DESIGNER
  2. Searching in Wix-Market-Place for the right PROFESSIONAL
  3. Searching on extern Marketplaces like …
    a) Codecanyon
    b) FIVRR
    c) and many others.

Searching on extern Marketplaces not recommended, because in most cases the more professionals you will find in the corresponding forums → CODERS which really dealing with the right stuff every-day.

Good luck with your search.

I was able to find live chat support options on Wix, but they are somewhat buried.

Bug fixes seem like something Wix would want to know about. As far as I can tell there are no areas to report bugs.

Yes, you of course can reach out to Wix-CUSTOMER-CARE and open a → TICKET.

Try to click on the part and then set 0 all the four numbers in “Docking, margins and padding”. It worked for me.
