I’ve followed instructions on https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-code-tutorial-sending-an-email-on-form-submission#event-handler-1 but still can’t seem to receive an email. Please help as I’m rushing on a deadline 
On sendgrid it is acknowledged that they have received an email as the email counter goes up after I’ve submitted the form but I still do not receive it on email.

If sendgrid received it your Code is working, check to change so email is not the same address in sender and receiver and try again

Note that you can also use the Triggered Email option in case the site visitor is a site member as explained here . As mentioned by Andreas, I recommend changing the Email address so that the sender and recipient are different.
