I have access to the Wix Studio dashboard and Wix Studio app but my business Wix website is not being allowed to be transfered to Wix Studio. Need feedback asap.

Hey @SandysFlowersOttawa.
Eventually we will be able seamless migrate sites between editors.
For now, your existing sites will be brought over to your new Wix Studio dashboard and accessible under Sites, but they will remain on their original editor.

Is this migration ONLY for EditorX sites to move to Studio OR will there also have the ability to transfer Classic Editor sites over to Studio as well?

Great question! That’s exactly what we are looking to find out as well… We don’t want to lose all our product and customer data and invoices etc, changing to wix studio. We need everything to be transferable.

I do not believe that there are any current plans to migrate Wix Classic site to Wix Studio. They are 2 completely different products aim at different design markets (DIY vs Agency). Each will continue and evolve in their own right.

Wix used to allow migration from the Wix Editor to Editor X. Then, they canceled the migration feature. Currently, it would be possible to migrate from Wix to Wix Studio if they reopened the Wix to Editor X migration.
The Wix Editor is a subpar editor—it’s not responsive at all and is really outdated. We are considering moving to Webflow or Framer. I really don’t understand why Wix makes it so difficult for us to upgrade to their modern editor—we would actually be paying more.
