I cannot find how people who have paid for a membership to a site can cancel or change their subscription or how I can do that for them. Surely, there is a better way than me manually deleting them and then asking them to sign up again at a different level. What am I missing here?

You’re not missing anything. This product is VERY minimal right now. Check out all the feature requests and you’ll get a picture of all the things it is currently missing:

Also, trying to work Corvid into Paid Plans is not an easy or great solution. If you need added functionality NOW for a recurring payment system, you’re best off working with a third party like PayWhirl or Subbly,
