I want to change the path that the cursor travels through the fields a form. How do I do that?

Would love to know the answer to this. I have a custom input form and need to change the field sequence.

So when I click into the first input (e.g. firstName), type my name then hit tab, I want to direct it to another specific input (e.g. lastName).
