Changing custom input form sequence

Does anyone know how to change the sequence of a custom input form?

So when I click into the first input (e.g. firstName), type my name then hit tab, I want to direct it to another specific input (e.g. lastName).

how do you code tabIndex? where does it go on the code? I’m a bit new to coding, and am in need of the tabindex.
