Choosing enrollment time in Online Program

Question:
How can I automate my emails in a Wix Online Program, where I need to work with timetables?

Product:
Wix Online Program

What are you trying to achieve:
For my client, I am building an online program in which people need to fill in a form 3x a day. What I want to achieve is to build the automated mail funnel that way, so that after the welcoming mail, it makes sense that people start in the morning after that. How do I set the delay in that automation? Because you can add a delay from days, hours and minutes, but it ofcourse depends on when people subscribe to the program.

Thanks a lot for your help!

Hey Merel,

If the delay options available in Wix Automations aren’t fulfilling your requirements, then the entire automation logic will have to be custom coded using Wix Velo where Cron Jobs or Scheduled Jobs will have to be set up to fire these emails at a specific time of the day.

To automate emails in your Wix Online Program based on a timetable, set up automations that trigger emails at intervals aligned with the user’s subscription time. Use delays strategically to mimic morning, afternoon, and evening reminders. For precise timing, leverage Wix’s coding capabilities to calculate and schedule email sends dynamically. Test the setup to ensure emails are delivered at the intended times.

Thanks so much! Would you be able to help me with that?

Thankyou for your reply! Could you maybe help me with that?

To automate emails based on participant subscription times, start by capturing the exact moment a participant joins the program. Define key times of the day, like morning, afternoon, and evening, as anchors for sending reminders. Use the subscription time to determine the next closest anchor, ensuring the first email aligns naturally with the participant’s day. Build a system that calculates these timings dynamically, scheduling reminders accordingly. After each email is sent, the process recalculates the next optimal time for subsequent messages, maintaining a seamless flow. This approach adapts to individual schedules while ensuring reminders are timely and relevant.

Thanks so much! Do you know around how much time this would cost to set up? I am very familiair with Wix, just not with Velo and Jobs yet. Would you maybe be able to help me and my client with this?

We can help you with that with time efficiency and proper guidance if you are interested, could schedule a meeting for that for further discussions.

I would like to! Could you send me an email to info@thebirdsperspective.com? Thankyou in advance!
