Hi all. I have just wasted about 3 days of my life trying to build a Classifieds website using WordPress and a WordPress Theme called Lisfinity. Despite all the assurances from the Lisfinty designers etc, that is was easy to use, for someone that is not a Web Designer or experienced with WordPress, it is anything but easy! I paid for Elementor Pro to help, but it didn’t.
So I spent another half day searching for a intuitive easy website builder like Wix, but to build a basic Classified Ads site. Well, it seems the only one that exists in the whole world is a builder called Yclas. Looks as easy as Wix. But… it’s $360 per year! Ouch, that’s a lot when I doubt I’ll earn that from Advert sales. I want to build a very specialist free listings site with a small market of hobby enthusiasts.
I saw that Wix are gathering votes for a Classifieds option (I voted) and I contacted Wix support to see if they were close to launching a Classified Ads option, but they didn’t know.
So does anyone know of an easy (no coding or WordPress experience) option to build a decent Classified Ads website??? Or am I right that Yclas is the only one???
If there is no other, I will have to use Yclas and then when Wix launch a less expensive option (hopefully) I will have to change over to Wix.
