Hi,
I’m trying to create navigation with with two sub menus, my conclusion was a mega menu. However unlike a submenu title that is clickable to a new page, separate from the subtitles, a megamenu’s title isn’t clickable? You hover to activate the megamenu but can’t click to go to another page?
Is there a workaround or am I missing something?

Hi Spencer,
You are correct that in a typical mega menu, the main title is usually not clickable to go to another page. However, there are workarounds to achieve this functionality. One option is to include a small arrow or icon next to the main title that indicates it is clickable, and then use JavaScript to make it navigate to another page when clicked. Another option is to make the entire mega menu area clickable, so that users can click anywhere within the mega menu to go to a new page.
Hi,
Thanks for the response and you’ve given me some food for thought there, although I’m not a coder so the JavaScript option would be challenging for me. I’m trying to make a multi level dropdown navigation but see that Wix only offers a single level of dropdown at the moment
My other question would be with your workaround is what would happen when viewed on mobile?

if you make it on hover then it would be a problem at mobile, because on mobile, hover dnt work perfectly. and on click you can used… although if you need my help in this project i am open to collab
Hi,
Thanks for the offer
I’ve been playing some more and have found that I can actually drop one link under the other in the navigation and therefore can create the style I was looking for.
Only issue is now that there is a word count to the titles you can give the dropdowns and for some reason the styling applied and viewed via the preview isn’t showing when published?
