As you may know some languages are right to left, and this is creating huge difficulties when creating a website through Editor X ( or any other platform ). When you change a language, you do not only need translation!, you also need to have different font between languages, you need to flip entire section’s layout, and you need to make each component right-to-left and even sometimes, have different content like images from one language to another. None of this is supported in Wix which is very disappointing! also and the most important thing that Translation is not supported for CMS content! which does not make sense. I tried actually creating separate CMS one for each language, but there was no way to connect it based on specific conditions.
Such a platform should have thoughtful and fully supportive features for right-to-left languages, with deep understanding for the language needs and necessities.
Yes, this is very bad. I’m currently working with a lot of CMS list and I found that cannot be translated !!! In my CMS list I have o lot of text… Can someone please help ? Anyone here know how can solve this ?
We opened a beta yesterday allowing translations for CMS content by Wix Multilingual, and it will be made available to all users in the coming weeks.

How to use it?
Make sure to add CMS and Multilingual to your client’s site
Open Multilingual and find the CMS sections in the left menu
Start translating your dynamic content
Add or remove collections from Multilingual if needed
I understand it may not resolve the right-to-left topic, but this tells me we are getting closer and the topic of multilingual is being worked on!
@pamela this feature has been really useful just like all the tools you provide on wix, but the right to left and left to right switch is killing any multilingual site designs, I’ve used other builders before that allowed a completely diffrent design for each language, not just orientation but diffrent elements. So I was wondering is there anything in the works that is coming soon to fix the multilingual site design problem?
our website NinjutsuKyoto.com has been waiting for more than 4 months for Wix to create and make available to all premium plans a module that allows translating product slugs for multilingual SEO to meet Google’s requirements and be visible internationally. Ignoring the absence of this feature, we made the mistake of choosing Wix for the creation of our NinjutsuKyoto site instead of Shopify.
