At the moment there is not way to completely disable a hidden elements (that is set to show only on specific actions, a custom drop-down menu for example). I find myself constantly clicking and moving hidden elements from my menu, this is crazy! With this Wix Code implementation better is needed a better management of elements inside the Editor. The check box only makes the transparent, still can be clicked and it makes everything so hard to edit under the hidden elements, since you have to select all the time from the Overllaping menu.

Hi Maria. Thank you for pointing this out. 1 small thing that may assist you: CMD-M on Mac, or Cntrl+M on Windows: take you from one component on the editor to the next. It cycles through all of the components on the page

I have the same nightmare, trying to deal with layers of hidden and collapsed elements.
Can you guys at wix please create something similar to how the mobile editor view works, where you can click HIDE and the element disappears from the editor window?
