Is it possible to have a Wix form where the user selects who they would like to contact (sales, support, etc) and, based on that, the form would email a different recipient? So for example, selecting sales would email sales@mycompany.com and selecting support would email support@mycompany.com.
If this is possible, how would I go about setting it up?
It is not possible with the Wix Forms app native settings. They do not have conditional email notifications.
You can create a custom form using input elements and creating your own conditional coded function.
Thank you for that. I’ll look into it but I must say that for being marketed as such a user friendly and easy website builder, this would be an included feature. I see this being asked often and it makes sense because we all want to streamline our customer’s ability to reach who they want and asking them via a dropdown is FAR more intuitive and efficient than creating a whole page of contacts one has to scour through.
The builder itself is easy and user friendly.
The Wix Forms app is just an app. Most form apps have free basic features, and paid apps have extra features (such as conditional email notifications, and more).
It really just depends on the app you choose to use for your project, and whether or not you find it valuable to upgrade to unlock extra features.
In this case, Wix Forms just doesn’t offer that feature.
You can research and test other Form apps in the Wix marketplace or you can look for external Form apps that you can embed on your site. The difference between apps found in the Wix marketplace and those found externally, is that Wix marketplace apps are vetted for security.
