Container box when set directly in the middle of a 1920px screen, shift to the left hand side of the 3840px screen

Question:
Why Container box with an image+video on hover when set directly in the middle of a 1920px screen, shift to the left hand side of the 3840px screen ? How come it doesn’t stay in the centre. Same if i set it in the middle of 3840px screen it will crop the right hand side of it. on a smaller one. The centre of page is not the centre of page if that make sense.

Product:
Wix Editor

What are you trying to achieve:
I want the Container box to either fill the width of the whole screen regardless of the screen size. Or stay in the centre. Problem with the whole width is i am using a hover option on an image that plays a video, unfortunately videos are limited to 1920px so no way i can expand it all the way on 4k screen. So i want it to stay in the middle of screen.

What have you already tried:
I have tried to use columns but that didn’t worked. Still it shifts the whole container.

Hi, RemiZ !!

It’s likely that the issue is due to the limitations of the regular Wix Editor when it comes to responsive design. In the Wix Editor, it can be challenging to create a site that fully adapts to all screen sizes.

YYeah i thought so, Im trying Studio now. we will see how that will go

Hi, RemiZ.

I think it’s best to take some time to study Wix Studio gradually at the beginning since it can be challenging to handle. People who are used to the regular Wix Editor and jump straight into Wix Studio thinking it’s similar may end up feeling like “Wix Studio is no good, difficult to use, and full of bugs.” Lately, I’ve seen opinions like that in this forum, and it’s a bit disappointing. There are certainly some bugs, but from what I can tell, about half of those opinions stem from a lack of study on the part of the user. Wix Editor is designed to be accessible to anyone without a manual, but Wix Studio is more like a professional HTML editor, requiring you to read the instructions to fully understand it. So, I recommend studying the functions of Wix Studio first to avoid feeling let down. After I studied it myself, my view of Wix Studio changed drastically—for the better.

Also, working on the initial assignment required to earn the Web Designer certification can deepen your understanding of the Wix Studio Editor, so I highly recommend it. It’s quite challenging, but I’m really glad I took it seriously—I was able to expand my range of expression in Wix many times over. Well, I haven’t actually earned the certification yet, haha, but if you have the time, definitely give it a try!

Hi. Yeah I’m taking it slowly. But I agree with you. Its a decent piece of software/app not sure how to categorize it.
I’ve tried webflow and framer last week. Both didn’t meet my expectations.

I’m a 3d artist so not great with programming and web creation. But Wix studio seems alright. Also Im just building my own website, portfolio. Slowly but steady. Watching bunch of tutorials etc. There is loads of useful ones available. Should be enough for me.
