Custom Forms and Automation for eMail Notification not working

Question:
How can I send an email confirmation to users who submit my customized form?

What are you trying to achieve:
I have a customized booking request form, and I would like the user who submits the form to receive an email (which I have already set up in the automation) containing the details they just filled out.

What have you already tried:
I have set up the automation with the following steps:

  1. Trigger: CMS Form submitted.
  2. Action 1: Create Contact.
  3. Action 2: Send an email. With Recipients: “Emails from trigger”

The first action works, but Action 2 is not functioning as expected—the user who submitted the form does not receive the email.

Permission of my Form Dataset is set to “Collect Content”

Custom form fields are automatically added to the outgoing client confirmation email. You may see it in the template. We automatically add up to 5 custom fields per form.
I believe this would serve the need in a better way as the client doesn’t receive 2 separate emails.

I have a custom form and user using it do not receive any emails ad confirmation, although I set the automation as described.
