I’ve sorted my dataset and it is the same in both Sandbox and Live, but it will not update on my live website. Any ideas?
When you say you have sorted the data in both your sandbox and live modes, do you just mean that both have the same info or did you actually sync the sandbox to the live?
When you work in the editor you are working in the sandbox mode, when you are viewing on your published site are working with the live mode.
So, before you save and publish your site, you need to sync your sandbox to your live version for it to be seen working in your live website.

I was syncing my sandbox data to live, but the order of the data was not the same on my live site. I just figured out how to fix it by sorting on the “dataset settings” on the page itself. Didn’t notice that option before.

Glad you get it sorted, just remember that Wix always likes to test us and not make things easy, even with the simpler things
