Hi I have added a dataset and linked it up successfully. It was working fine but when I changed some of the rich text in one element in the dataset table, it now will not update. I have tried deleting the row and re entering all the data but to no avail.

I have noticed that in your home page you have invalid code file
I suspect this may be the cause of the issue.
You can just delete this single line (the file can be empty). Let me know if this solves the issue.

Hey Yoav, i am still having a problem with any edits i do in the dataset updating to live.
I have made a change to services, 'branding and this is just not turning up on the live site. i am syncing all the changes and even going into the live database and editing it there but it is just not copying across.
the other issue with the training and maintenance section is also still happening ( i have got around it by changing the place holder text to the actual content for this section as that’s what it’s showing ) Please can you have a look at this as i am trying to launch this site this week.

just to make sure - you are having issues with updating the Live data and getting the changes to appear on the site? Are your changes in Wix Database persisted between sessions, that is can you go in change something, leave Wix Databases app go back and see your changes?
The site seems to work very well. 
the changes are not showing even if i go out of the editor and log off and back in again.
Can you go to the Live Database application and try to change some data? I want to see what is going on in the system.

I have made changes in the Live Database application and then refreshed and then gone back to the dataset in the editor and synced from the live database and this now seems to be working and updating ok. So maybe i just need to do it that way around in future.
However, I still have an issue, you can perhaps help me with. In the collection my body font is not in italic but when it is in preview or live it comes up as italic. Can you suggest how to resolve this issue? I have raised it before but had no response. if you go into my account you can see what i mean if you look at my single service page and then at the dataset rich text elements.

so, one thing to know, that the preview always shows data from what we call a Sandbox database. Sandbox is the database you see when in the editor. The live site is using the Live database, which is the one you can work with from the Dashboard application. If you want to see the same data in preview and live you will have to sync back and forth. We are working on improving the experience here, so your feedback is very valuable. Thank you!
As for the fonts issue, your entries in database are formatted with ‘Paragraph 2’ style which is Italic in your sites theme. Currently, there is a known issue, that we don’t show the styles correctly in our Content Manager.
You can change the theme for ‘Paragraph 2’ style (may require using non data bound text box). Here is an article that explains how to do it:

Hi Ziv, I had a call with Gabriel from the code team yesterday and we spoke about this issue. There does appear to be a bit of a glitch with some updates from sandbox to live. But when you change in live and refresh and then go back and sync to sandbox it works ok. Thanks for all your help guys.

The my site is not syncing properly between sandbox and live database. My changes to sandbox are not showing up on the live dataset. Ive tried to reload, refresh etc. but still no luck in syncing the data. Just wondering what might be wrong or something else that I can try?

I am having this problem now. My database will not sync properly to the live database. What pulls over is partial. I have just spent the last 2 days rebuilding an extensive country based database from my original site which I know plan on switching from because my database would not sync at all. Does anyone have a resolution to this issue? I am going to have to give up. This is 2 months out of my life now.

When I sync my sandbox to live then it sync up and says live but when I refresh the site it says it’s in sandbox and you again have to sync it to live in 2020 what should I do?
I am having the problem that originated this thread. I add new data to live, but it does not show. It only shows old data. I have tried all that has been mentioned here with no result. Can anyone help me please?
