Dataset syncing and ordering issue

  1. I have an issue with the ordering/syncing of my dataset. The dataset is connected to a repeater. I’ve sorted my dataset in Sandbox by date:oldest to newest, then synced all items to Live, then publish. But there is just this one entry which does not follow this ordering no matter what I do. I’ve tried to looked at the Edit Live Database and sorted by date:oldest to newest and it’s in the correct order in this interface. But when I go back to editor and view the Live data there, the order does not reflect. I’ve tried syncing from sandbox and also syncing from livebox. and this issue wouldn’t fix. Please help!

  1. In the repeater, for the date field, is there a way to make it only show the date and not the time and time zone?

Hi Michelle.

Can you please elaborate, for question 1 - do you use sorting of the dataset element? For example, see sorting a dataset by ID:


Regarding question 2 - do you use a Text element to display the “Date Time” field?

  1. Got that fixed by sorting in the dataset instead of in the database as you suggested. Thanks!
  2. I use Date and Time element to display the date. I’ve got it sorted by creating another column with text to show it the way I want as a quick fix.
