Dev Updates

Dashboard SDK Update Required

We’ve released updates to the Dashboard SDK that change how the Wix Dashboard communicates with apps. As these changes roll out, apps using outdated SDK versions may break. We recommend updating your packages to the latest supported versions to ensure continued compatibility.

Site Widgets in Manage Apps

Apps that include site widgets will now appear in the Manage Apps page in Harmony, allowing users to add them directly to their site. This creates a new exposure point for your app’s widgets and makes them easier for users to discover and use. To appear there, make sure your app includes a widget thumbnail. Support for adding widgets directly from the Add panel will be available soon.

Webhooks are Now Versioned

Webhooks are now versioned like other app extensions. Adding a new webhook creates a new minor version of your app, which is automatically pushed to users on the latest major version. Sites running older major versions won’t trigger newly added webhooks until they update to the latest version.
To ensure all users receive webhook updates, we recommend encouraging them to keep your app up to date.
