Sorry, this doesn’t answer my question. Of course I am familiar with the dynamic slideshow, Ive used it many times. My question specifically asks whether a slideshow can be creating WITHIN a column of a strip. I am trying to create a responsive HALF screen width slideshow. Any ideas?

Responsive? Depends on what you mean and what you want. If you want truly responsive, you’re better off going with EditorX .
Thanks for coming back to me, but I already tried this workaraound and its just not good enough, as it not responsive, so looks odd on larger screens.
My question really was aimed at those who might have found a coding solution?
I dont want to use Editor X as am 95% completed on a large website, and to move it over is not an option.
Hmm, not sure about a coding solution. You might use multiple Slideshows and hide/show depending on screen dimensions.
Hopefully there’s a smart user out there that will see this and be able to help.
I have the same issue. I want to attach a slide show to a column and have it scale dynamically with that column like it would if I changed the column background image. this seems like a no brainer to me.
Wix appears to be very limited to me. not really at all what I was sold.
Take a look at EditorX.com by Wix for full control on your site’s layout, scaling, etc.
