Error when using the Figma to Wix Studio Plugin

I returned to my project after the a break of a week, upon returning, I can no longer sync between Figma and Wix Studio, I get the following error:

The import wasn’t completed
We couldn’t import from Figma due to a technical error, refresh the import to try again and if this issue persists contact

Just wondering how I can fix this?

So sad that I cannot get this working, the process was really speeding things along.

I spoke to the team who had a few suggestions:

  • Do you have editing permissions on the Figma file?
  • Are you using the same Wix account you used previously to import from Figma to Wix Studio.
  • If that doesn’t work - try copying the design to a different Figma file and try to import again.

Im having the exact same issue. Stepped away for 1 hour and got the same message, how did you resolve?

@Akiko @Maulik_Vora @chinmay - are you all receiving the same error message as the original report in this topic?

If so, please report it following the steps here.

We have two issues with it now and we really need to solve both - even if one on figma side (no we cannot report them, only paid plans can):

  1. rate limit not working well - counts to 4 days then after 4 days it starts all over, i tried it for 2 weeks, cannot upload my design to wix still..

  2. bug with constant refreshing (Edge & chrome, cleared cache and cookies) doesn’t allow you to change the figma url:
