My client needs to send a different email to event attendees when we issue free tickets.
These free tickets can be created in bulk in Wix Studio (in the Guests section), but the issue is that they receive the standard Order confirmation email sent to those who are paying for their tickets. Some of the copy in that email is not relevant and it would be preferable if we could send them a more personalised email as they are special guests.
While it is great Wix run these automated emails when users purchase tickets, it would be great if there was a way to add a condition to the Order confirmation email for those who aren’t paying. I have tried adding a condition to the automation Wix creates but there is no ticket price property I can select. I also tried creating a different automation for Ticket orders = 0 and that partly worked… they receive a different email but they also receive the standard email.
I looked through the documentation and checked the community but I couldn’t find a relevant topic. Anyone who may know how to set this up and can give me a helping hand? I would greatly appreciate it!!
