My editor is extremely slow , up to the point the entire solution is not usable for us. I tried contacting support and their answer was that this is due to the fact I am using Wix code. I do not see how the two related. I am looking for a solution as I cannot work like that. Please see attached video showing how long it take just to move a button! Note the mouse can move freely and button takes ages to follow it. It is not usable…
Latest firefox. I don’t think it had anything to do with the excellent Wix code. I think I stumbled on an unqualified support member… I have high hopes Liran will help us to solve this problem.
Liran, Thank you very much!
It works perfectly in Chrome (both incognito and normal). With Firefox (also in private mode) extremely slow…Same thing with Edge and IE. Only chrome…But as long as we can work it is good enough for us.
Note that in chrome the editor itself loads about x10 compared to Firefox.
I thank you again for looking into it!
Same here. Totally unresponsive. Even the help forum is unnacceptably slow. In the wix editor it is between 10 and 30 seconds waiting for a click to respond. I am using Windows xp and the latest version of firefox. I havn’t tried Google Chrome and dont see why I should really. I have tried clearing my cache, switching off Kaspersky. Closing all other web pages and tabs. Still useless. I cannot even look at the web site I am editing! I will leave Wix if this cannot be fixed it is impossible to work with. Any suggestions?
HEEEEELP! Same problem with my editor. I paid for a year, my customers cannot be noted, I cannot edit the site. I am loosing money here. I want my site to be working. Come on people, do something or pay me back!!! Even the bloody help page is so slow. www.happypasta.co.uk
Hi happypastacompany,
I’m from the editor team here at Wix.
I have a couple of questions to make sure I understand the problem-
Is the problem the time it takes the editor to load, or the experience inside the editor after it loaded?
You tried using Google Chrome and the problem persists ?
