Facebook Debugger Warnings

Hi all

I have gone through and set up SEO for my blog site. However, when sharing blog posts to social media, e.g. Facebook, it only displays the website url without any image etc. I ran the url through the Facebook Debugger and received the following warnings:

  • Inferred PropertyThe ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.

  • Missing PropertiesThe following required properties are missing: og:url, og:type, og:title, og:image, og:description, fb:app_id

  • Bad Response CodeURL returned a bad HTTP response code.
    I have trawled the internet for answers but none assist insofar as Wix is concerned. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

I am having this errors:
Error while downloading https://static.wixstatic.com/media with HTTP response code: 404
The following required properties are missing: fb:app_id

Any help much appreciated.

I got an answer for " The following required properties are missing: fb:app_id ", you can ignore it.

"The tag you are referring to is a needed for Facebook developer tool to create an app version of your site. Since Wix sites cannot be converted to apps, this error/tag can be ignored.

Having the same problem. My Facebook post includes a link to a page on my Wix site that has a photo, but the photo isn’t displaying. When I ran the Facebook debugger, it gave me the same message: “The following required properties are missing: fb:app_id”. I’m not trying to create an app, I just want my photo to display on Facebook! Any suggestions?

This is driving me nuts! Been debugging all day and nothing’s showing up. Not what I need when launching a new campaign - any suggestions on how to fix?

I have the same problem!!! this is annoying. The image is not apearing.

I went in and put much smaller images in the SEO section and it worked!

@jane2 I’m going to try that. For the life of me, I can’t understand why they don’t explain that error. Maybe they just want to drive people crazy!

@ Jane Evans @Bob Kimball Does yours also not load site name? Mine constantly sais “my Site”…

Whenever I upload my link to social media sites, it just says “legacy title”, “legacy description” and has no image, despite the fact i have changed all 3 of these things.

Please advise me A S A P!

I had that problem and changed my image to conform to these guidelines. It worked.

But I still don’t know what the Inferred Property error is about…

The image updated but the Title and Page Description still will not update
