Fear of Theme Changes

Question:
When we first set up our site 18 months ago we set a lot of page and text colors, colors of buttons, etc. by hand, mostly to avoid working in the theme editor, which we didn’t, and still don’t understand.

Today we’ve just turned on the Forum functionality and it’s giving us purple buttons and purple html links on a black background that none of our users can easily see. So we need to fix that. But I’m afraid if I change those things in the theme editor that I’ll change the entire website. What to do?

Hi,

Hope you are well.

You can edit every color of your forum in your forum widget’s design tab. Open its settings, and you will find the design option.
