Currently, there is not an option to add a contributor to manage Ascend features only. I need an account to have access to email marketing, the inbox/chat, social posts, video maker, etc. but would not have access to the rest of the site dashboard or the editor. This role would basically be a “Marketing User.”
Similar roles exist for blog editor/writer, where these roles can only access the blog related backend.

@bensaylor Good news - With the new partner program you can customize specific roles. We will be having a round table specifically around Team Mgt and permissions - don’t let me forget to ask that question! (We will schedule it in the coming weeks)
So, are you saying it is already possible to customize specific roles? How would this be done? I can’t find anything like that using the “Roles and Permissions” page on the dashboard.
