Feature Request for Ascend: Exit Condition for automated email sequences triggered by an opt-in (Submit Form)

Hello. Please add the ability to remove contacts who have opted-in to a lead magnet that triggers an automated email marketing sequence.

For example:

  1. Customer opts-in to a freebie.

  2. Submits a Form triggers a automated marketing email sequence. (The goal of the sequence is to have the customer buy a product.)

  3. Let’s suppose the customer buys the product after receiving the 4th email.

  4. This is where I want the feature request: Exit Condition = Contact Purchased Product.

  5. Then, the customer will stop receiving the rest of the emails.
This is so important because it is really annoying for customers that purchase a product to continue receiving those sales emails.

It’s crazy that you can set up automation for many contacts, but there is no way to remove a single contact…that I can see, anyway.

@Brett_Slater I looked into this to double check, but it’s correct that there is no way for a contact to be removed once an ongoing email marketing automation has started. This is a great suggestion, though! Be sure to submit this to become a feature request! Head on over to the Product Roadmap and click the ‘Request a Feature’ button. :+1:

hanks, Pamela,

Someone else has listed it - not much traction. WIX is actually fine for setting up sales funnels, etc… there are just a few bits missing. I’m sure it’s a great area for WIX as it covers people using funnel software, etc., and moving off the platform.

The way to stop emails from going out is to unsubscribe the user’s email address, but that’s not ideal as it might be only one thing that they want to unsubscribe from. Wix is not great in the unsubscribe area, and it would be better if there were a list option or unsubscribe page, etc., that the user could go to.

Unsubscribing is not a great option, but it is better than sending emails to people who don’t want them.

Thanks for your help and for reaching out

Hey, somewhat this request is already included in the product roadmap as I found out here:

Could you all vote for this feature so we could have it sooner than later?

Thank you
