Feature Request: Wix Bookings: Confirmation email by service type

Hi there! As a virtual fitness instructor who also offers in-person classes, I want the ability to create a custom confirmation email for each service type. #featurerequest

Here’s why:
The pandemic has fundamentally changed the way we offer group fitness, personal coaching, and other service-based fitness offerings.

  1. If we teach license-based programs, we may not always be able to deliver our classes through Zoom, but through other authorized online platforms. I want to be able to sometimes offer my classes in Zoom and at other times, send those who sign up for my class a specific link to join the class with passcode instructions - check out OnPodio - a fitness app that offers this service for instructors and passes on a fee to students. I’d rather drive people to my website rather than have people process payment through a third-party app.

  2. I now offer a combination of in-person classes AND virtual classes. I want to target my confirmation email to my audience. In-person classes now have a lot of safety protocols and information that we have to deliver to prepare the student. One blanket confirmation email no longer covers my needs as a fitness instructor.

  3. I want to be able to help more fitness instructors migrate onto the Wix platform because I think it is far superior to MindBody - but that’s going to be an uphill battle without additional features that fitness instructors, small gyms and studios are desperate to have at this time.

I was using acuity, which provides much more customization for confirmation emails, alerts, etc.

I really hope you can focus on a feature that will allow us to customize and create a booking confirmation email specific to the service our customers are booking so that we can provide the best user experience.
