Can we get all orders, products of Wix store automatically synched to database so that we can use it further for various things like for creating proper customer profile showing past orders?

As of today there is no support between Wix Code and vertical products like Stores. We all hope that it will come soon on some roadmap. I would to have orders for myself.
So specifically for an ecommerce online store, what is the use of WIX code. or put it in another way, how can an existing Wix store benefit from Wix Code in a true way? or shall we make an online store from scratch using wix code - that gonna take a lot of time and research if possible.
Wix Code is just released and I know Wix teams will not stop developing now so I would guess we will see new versions on Wix Code coming and they will probably have more features inside than we could possibly dream of. I also believe that support for vertical apps wiill come but nobody knows for sure and not when. Maybe a public roadmap would benefit planning of projects?

This feature is coming soon and it was announced a few weeks ago.
We are gearing up to deliver digital books directly to our customers on our own App and a secure URL, not via a download link. The E-commerce API set will hopefully allow us capture all the purchase data and let us then process it separately to complete the rest of the fulfillment. Thanks Wix!

Nayeli, this is terrific news. But it’s 2 months later and I can’t do something so intuitive as getting Order Data and Member Profiles into linked Data Collections. eCommerce is ultimately about customers, sales and orders. Everything else is preamble, and the most critical data is missing.
Yes, I’ve always been able to have Order backend processing as a key part of running a business, with Netsuite, and then 3DCart. It’s so important for so many areas of business.
I’ll be publishing a complete tutorial on how do get Order Data Collections automatically populated with all order information from Wix Store orders. It’s be available by the end of the month.
The process flow will populate multiple Data Collections if you need to cross-link various data through reference fields.
The process is robust and straightforward and will support critical business operations.
Like so often in Wix, this was fraught with many small gotchas that needed resolution, so it’s taken awhile to sort it and then explain the various steps in setting it up. But it’s vert straightforward and accessible without learning additional Wix Code.

Has anyone got any further on this? I’d like to access new orders placed on our site and feed that info to our external project management database.
