Maybe this is a dumb question but i cant seem to figure it out if it is possible at all.
I want to have a square shape with rounded edges fill with an image. The shape is rotated a bit and the image needs to be horizantally. (the image does not rotate like the shape does to put it that way)
I cant figure it out. anyone any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
@klaaspostma hi there
that’s an interesting question and I do hope that can understand it right
please see the video example attached to this, is this something you are referring to?
first of all thanks for the response, I appreciate it!
But that is not what I ment. Its just a static square. I got a screenshot of the section I designed in Figma. (Should have uploaded a screenshot from the start) Don’t mind the blue lines etc. Its the half square that is rotated a bit in the right bottom corner. That is wat I am trying to create but I dont know how. (Maybe im just stupid haha)
I was planning on putting it half outside of the page in Editor X and put the section overflow on hide so that solves the part where their is just half of a rotated square but I can’t seem to fill it with an image.
Sorry for wasting your time making that awesome rotating square. Looks cool but it isn’t what I
as I kow, we do not have option to combine the basic shape and image at the same time, but you can “round” the corners and make some angle adjustments along with the overflow content setup
So, you can’t really just add a shape then put the image into it. But, in this instance you can get pretty much what you want (Because what you want is pretty simple)
Step 1. Set the section to overflow hidden
Step 2. Add the image to the page
Step 3. Change the corner radius from 0 (I set it to 25 in my example)
Step 4. Rotate the image to the tilt you want it (I set it to 12 in my example)
Step 5. Drag the image into the corner and position it how you want it
