Hi,
I am working on an online store, with product collection.
I am using the “Product Gallery” to show the products.
Can I programmatically filter the gallery content? I know how to do that using the “setFilter” API if I use a repeater bounded to a dataset, but didn’t find any way if I am using the “Product Gallery”.
I will appreciate to any help in this matter.
Thanks
did you ever figure this out ?
not really, I implemented a new gallery via a repeater
@ammarbader
Whithout showing any of your working CODE, you also won’t get a solution for your problem.
-Anybody knows your setup.
-Anybody knows the elements you use, or which are involved into the issue.
-Anybody knows the code you use.
-Anybody knows your DB-structure and all its values or connections to other elements of your site.
-Anybody knows the flow of your project.
-You never gave a detailed description.
And you never will get a good answer! → Logical conclusion?
@russian-dima Meantime as I said, I managed implementing it from scratch, I am closing this ticket for now, will open again when needed, and with more information for you guys.
Thanks
@Velo-Ninja - I’m sure @Ammar.Bader knew what I meant. It was simply that Wix doesn’t allow you to filter through code a ProductGallery from Stores. You can filter a Gallery but not one linked to Stores. We didn’t need to share any code just whether or not the ability to filter Stores Galleries had changed recently. So no custom filters possible only those provided by ProductGallery by default.
