Form stopped sending email

I’ve a contact us form on a Website that was sending email up until 2 weeks ago but has stopped. I’ve checked the automation and run the tests which come back fine but no emails are sent. If I create a submission on the contact us page on the website, the email is in the mailbox on the WIX Studio but doesn’t get forwarded to where it was going - office 365.

Have old forms stopped working?

Welcome to the forum. Since the submission shows up in your Wix Inbox, the form itself and the automation are doing their part, so I would look at the delivery side to Office 365 first.

First, point the same automation at a different address (a Gmail, for example). If that one arrives, the problem is on the Microsoft side, not in Wix.

Second, in Microsoft 365 open the Exchange admin center, go to Mail flow, then Message trace, and search for mail from wix.com over the last few days. It shows whether the message was delivered, quarantined or rejected. Also check the Quarantine page in the Defender portal and the Junk folder of the receiving mailbox.

Third, if it is being filtered, add the Wix sender to an allow list in your Exchange anti-spam policy.

Finally, open the automation in Wix again and confirm the recipient address is still right and that it is set to Active. The test only proves Wix can send, not that your mail server accepts it.

A form that worked for months and then stops is often a filtering change on the receiving side. If the message trace shows nothing at all, post what it says and we can narrow it down.

If this helped, please mark it as Solved.
